about

Dreamtrax is a 5 song EP which started out as a “solo album” but really feels like more of a soul filled collaborative effort. These songs were brought to life in a bigger way with the co-production support from Orion Freeman along with a cast of amazing musicians from the east and west coasts.

It is a musical representation of the heroiness’ journey. Exploring and diving into the underworld and eventually allowing room within the heart and body for the lightness of being to pour in. The themes of longing, grief, trust, love, light and darkness are universal. My intention with this album is that it gives you deeper permission to journey inside, feel deeply, and that it inspires you to aspire to stand in your own truth…

Track Name: Fern
Fern

a fern’s only got but one thing, one thing to do / eeee
a fern’s only got but one thing, one thing to do / mmmmmm
open and open and open and open and open
open and open and open and open unfurl

and it seems like this could be easy
with just one thing to do you think this could be easy.

why do we make it so damn hard?

a trees only got but one place one place to grow - eeee
a trees only got but one place one place to grow - mmmmm
in the ground, in the ground in the ground you know,
in the ground, in the ground, in the ground of course it grows
and it seems like this could be easy
with just one thing to do you think this could be easy.
why do we make it so damn hard?

disturbingly beautiful, you shake your leaves and it twists my soul
Heee eee ee eee ohh
Oh oh oh oh oh

my souls’ only got but one thing to do - eeeeee
my souls’ only got but one thing to do - mmmmm
sing sing sing sing

and it seems like this could be easy
with just one thing to do you think this could be easy.
why do I make it so damn hard?
You know this could, this could be easy
Track Name: Grief
Grief

Grief comes in waves
Sleepless nights / belly aches
Sometimes the waves overtake me
I am lost at sea

Today is the day
When I chose to be free
I may not know the way
Pray the river guide me
may the moon guide me

He says to me, why are you crying?
I am ok. I was always ok.
You don’t need to cry - you are free to fly
Bodies break spirits never die

But i miss you
I resist you leaving
Said I miss you
I miss you more than you’ll ever know

On the other side
You give it all up to god
Don’t you try to change my mind
You don’t know what I saw

I had to wait
Until I was for sure
I couldn’t wait another day
Angels said breathe you away
You and the angels know their way

He says to me, why are you crying?
I am ok. I was always ok.
You don’t need to cry - you are free to fly
Bodies break spirits never die

But i miss you
I resist you leaving
Said I miss you
I miss you more than you’ll ever know than you’ll ever know
than you’ll ever know
Track Name: The Light
The Light

this, the last night
and the end of the world we knew
something brand new pulls at me
something brand new pulls at you
creation, imagination, play and we dream
this station, change the station
wicked it once did seem
the plains, now filled with smoke and mirrors
the silos abandoned, this old trail of tears

we took to the land and it never was ours
we took to the seas, we followed the stars
plundered her body - drilled the holes
but my god, how we love this land

lift the veil, uncover your eyes
let us not rest in our own demise
the wind, it howls, the moon she sees
what’s real and true beyond belief

as the darkness approaches on this last night
we search all the faces to find the light
the light, the light, the light
the light, the light, the light

piece of peace and shoreline start
to cover up homes, towns and all the art
skys grow dark, rains cry forth
help, can you hear the highway north?

Follow the feeling uncover the light
See through the haze that covers the sky
the light, the light, the light
so break out your maps let us find the way home
tighten the mast and sink into bone
remember your calling, remember tonight

the light, the light, the light
the light, the light, the light
the light, the light, the light
Track Name: Dreamtrax
dream trax

do you know who I am?
I say you don’t, you say you do boy
I say you don’t, you say you do
I come out of your dreams boy
I come out of your dreams
What happens on the streets boy?
What happens on the streets?

They will come out, out of the cracks
They will go walking out on the tracks
and fade away into the night
and fade away into the night

from what I can see we’re still aware
from what I can see we’re still aware
from what I can see, I can see
from what I can see we’re still aware

they will come out, out of the cracks
they will go walking out on the tracks
and fade away into the night
and fade away into the night

these are the ghosts in yourself
these are the ghosts are your shelf
collecting dust in your heart
these are the things that could tear us apart

we open up, open our arms
wrap our lives in little charms
and deeply sleep into the night
and deeply sleep until the light
and deeply sleep into the night
and deeply sleep until the light
Track Name: Dopamine
dopamine

body aches time stretches itself
lengthwise through that drive
cross Midwestern plains I’ve know before
body’s cold the heat is on and
have we all been here before? before

piles of clothes on the floor by the bedside
we peeled them off last night
you wanted more but you never can decide
when he don’t want you as his bride
have we all been here before? before

lonely mornings in the room the love was made
I kicked you out last night
you wanted more but you never can decide
when he don’t want you as his bride
have we all been here before? before

have we alllllll been here before? before

body aches time stretches itself
lengthwise through that drive
cross Midwestern plains I’ve know before
body’s cold the heat is on
body aches time stretches itself
